As part of a wider retail masterplan, the existing and well-used Rainton Meadows Arena was to be relocated, which afforded the opportunity to redesign and remodel the arena to a modern and thriving community hub. Clad in dark grey profiled cladding and engineered timber, the building can continue to be a focal point for a diverse array of activities across the north east of England.
